Zm\u011bk\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed vody se prov\u00e1d\u00ed t\u0159emi z\u00e1kladn\u00edmi zp\u016fsoby Demineralizace \u2013 samotn\u00fd n\u00e1zev napov\u00edd\u00e1, \u017ee se t\u00edmto zp\u016fsobem odstran\u00ed ve\u0161ker\u00e9 ionty miner\u00e1ln\u00edch l\u00e1tek. Vym\u011bn\u00ed se za ionty tzv. hydroxylu (OH) a vod\u00edku H a ty se pak p\u0159em\u011bn\u00ed na chemicky \u010distou vodu, \u010d\u00edm\u017e vznikne naprost\u00e9 tzv. odsolen\u00ed. K tomu slou\u017e\u00ed katexov\u00e9 patrony, kter\u00e9 nav\u00e1\u017eou karbon (hydrogenuhli\u010ditan) na ionty v\u00e1pn\u00edku a ho\u0159\u010d\u00edku a ty se pak vym\u011bn\u00ed za vod\u00edkov\u00e9 kationy. Vznikne kyselina uhli\u010dit\u00e1 (podobn\u011b jako sodovka), oxid uhli\u010dit\u00fd se z vody odpa\u0159\u00ed a t\u00edm cel\u00fd proces kon\u010d\u00ed. Zm\u011bk\u010dov\u00e1n\u00ed \u2013 nej\u010dast\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zp\u016fsob vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00fd v dom\u00e1cnostech (my\u010dky n\u00e1dob\u00ed a baz\u00e9ny). Zde se vym\u011b\u0148uj\u00ed v\u00e1penit\u00e9 a ho\u0159e\u010dnat\u00e9 ionty za sod\u00edkov\u00e9. Katexov\u00e1 n\u00e1pl\u0148 se postupn\u011b od\u010derp\u00e1v\u00e1 a nakonec se mus\u00ed tzv. regenerovat soln\u00fdm roztokem. Vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 se k tomu regenera\u010dn\u00ed tabletov\u00e1 s\u016fl https:\/\/www.chlorito.cz\/technicka-sul\/.
